Black Braided Silk is a non-absorbable, braided, surgical suture of natural origin composed of an organic protein called fibroin. The protein is derived from the domesticated silkworm <\/span>Bombyxmori<\/i><\/b> of the family <\/span>Bombycidae<\/i><\/b>. The filament is processed to remove natural waxes. The suture is available in white or dyed black with a silicone coating for smooth passage through tissues and for easy handling of the product.<\/span><\/p>\n
