Polyglactin Acid suture is indicated for use in every type of soft tissue approximation, including use in ophthalmic surgery but not in cardiovascular surgery, microsurgery or in nervous tissue. This suture can also be used as ligation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Warnings<\/b><\/p>\n

  • For single use only. DO NOT RESTERILIZE.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Discard remaining unused strands.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Do not rub the strand with a surgical glove or with gauze.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Users should be familiar with surgical procedures and techniques involving absorbable sutures before using the product.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The use of this suture may be inappropriate for elderly patients, malnourished or weakened patients, or patients with any conditions which may contribute to delayed wound healing.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Do not use the suture if the package is opened or damaged! Discard open, unused sutures.<\/span><\/li>\n

    Precautions<\/b><\/p>\n

    In handling suture materials, care should be taken to avoid damage from handling. Avoid crushing or crimping damage due to application of surgical instruments such as forceps or needle holders.
